For fans of first person shooters, Insurgency: Sandstorm offers a welcome alternative to the one man army style of shooters we see in games like Wolfenstein. In the just-released teaser trailer, the intent is to create an immersive, war is hell experience that favors planning and adaptability in order to survive an intense urban warfare scenario.

The footage on display is reminiscent of films like Black Hawk Down. The sniping, driving and combat look good enough to grab the attention those who like tactical shooters like the Rainbow Six series.

The game will have 3 co-op modes, character customization as well as ranked match making.

Check out the trailer below and tell us if you are willing to give this game a try.

Insurgency: Sandstorm will be released at some point later this year on PC, Xbox One and Playstation 4.
