PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS PlayStation 4 Version Listed On Amazon, Releasing On December 8, 2018

Amazon strikes back, this time accentually spoiling that Playerunknown's Battlegrounds's highly-anticipated PlayStation 4 version might be released a day after The Game Awards, on December 8, 2018...

Playerunknown's Battlegrounds' console exclusivity on Xbox One might be coming to an end really soon, as the latest reports suggest that a PlayStation 4 port of the global battle royale phenomenon will be released in December. The facts that PS4 consoles has been spotted at Bluehole studios and PUBG Corp.'s reluctance to rule out a PS release surely gave PS4 owners hope to play PUBG on their console.

While PUBG is currently available on PC, mobile and Xbox One, an Amazon listing (that has been ultimately taken down) has spoiled that the game will be released for PlayStation 4 relatively soon, on December 8, 2018, a day after The Game Awards 2018, which suggests that the official announcement of PUBG's PS4 version will take place during the highly-anticipated ceremony. A December release would also line up neatly with one year exclusivity for Xbox, as PUBG first launched on Microsoft's console on December 12, 2017.

As a reminder, nominees for The Game Awards will be announced today at Noon Eastern / 9 AM PT. Considering that PUBG's PlayStation 4 port is all but official announced, the next few weeks are going to be interesting for PUBG and its fans. Let's hope PUBG Corporation has drawn conclusions from the problematic Xbox One launch and the developer has improved the game's frame-rate on console.
