Hollow Knight is a metroidvania game developed by Australian independent studio Team Cherry that came out on Steam earlier in 2017, with a Nitnendo Switch version coming out in June of this year.
The game has been very well received by gamers and critics alike, to the point
Hollow Knight has even managed to sell over 1 million units on PC. Not only that but Team Cherry also announced that the
Nintendo Switch version of the game was able to sell a very respectable 250.000 units within the first two weeks since it released on Nintendo's handheld hybrid.
Today, Team Cherry has revealed the official date the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of the game will arrive, as well as releasing a new trailer.
Hollow Knight: Voidheart Edition will be available on the 25th of September on Sony and Microsoft's platforms, and it includes the original Hollow Knight game, and 4 content packs that will be built in at launch. Hidden Dreams, The Grimm Troupe, Lifeblood and
the newly renamed Godmaster content packs expand on the original adventure by adding new quests, abilities, and boss fights.
