It seems that a lot of gamers would love to play Diablo III on Nintendo Switch. After just one Blizzard's post tweeted earlier this week featuring a video of Diablo in the form of a nighlight with a "sweet dreams" caption, many fans of the brand thought that it was the studio's original way to announce that Diablo would be released on Switch (lamps usually have switches, after all). Well, here's a bummer.

Polygon has contacted Blizzard and it's time to calm down. “We can assure you we’re not that clever,” a spokesperson for Blizzard Entertainment said via email. “[It was] meant to be a fun community engagement piece. We have nothing to announce.” Considering that Blizzard updated Diablo III to PlayStation 4 (Pro) and Xbox One (X), there's still a chance that the Diablo series will grace Switch.
