Kingdom Hearts 3 is the next (and highly anticipated) installment in the
Kingdom Hearts RPG franchise which launched with the original
Kingdom Hearts back in 2002, combining new heroes with favorite characters from Square Enix and beloved Disney properties. The third chapter of the acclaimed series was announced at E3 2013, and Square Enix's released new screenshots that spotlight the game's cast.
Thankfully, both Disney and Square Enix fans will be pleased, as the images showcase Twilight Town from
Kingdom Hearts and the Hercules realm from Disney’s' 1997 classic animation. Twilight Town is a magical world that debuted in
Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, and later graced
Kingdom Hearts II, Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, and as you can see, will appear again in the upcoming
Kingdom Hearts III.
The second batch of screenshots is focused on
Hercules and his friends. The pictures reveal that player will have a chance to interact with the titular hero, Satyr Phil, Hades, Meg, Zeus, and even Pegasus.
Hercules has been part of the franchise since the very first entry, with the Olympus Coliseum serving as a world and primarily a challenge arena in the first game. Be sure to take a look at the images below:
