Marvel Entertainment announced their plans for San Diego Comic-Con this month and amongt he many panels will be one dedicated to Marvel Games.
Scheduled for Hall H at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 18, the Marvel Games Panel will provide an inside look at some of the highly anticipated Marvel titles. This includes a sneak peek at new content for
Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order,
Marvel's Iron Man VR, and
Marvel's Avengers. Marvel also teased
"many unannounced surprises and panel exclusives."
In addition to the panel, there will be booth demos and photo opportunities for all three games, along with live discussions and signings with the voice actors and developers behind each game.
Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order will presumably have a pretty large presence at SDCC as it's slated to release on July 19. The game was
shown off at great length during E3, during which it was announced that it will have an expansion pass featuring DLC inspired by
Marvel Knights,
X-Men, and
Fantastic Four.
Iron Man VR was revealed earlier this year and will be released for PlayStation VR later in 2019.
Fans will likely be most interested in Marvel's Avengers, the upcoming multiplayer action-adventure game from Square Enix and developer Crystal Dynamics. The game
was finally unveiled at E3, but received mixed reception from fans. All sorts of details regarding skillt rees, gear customization, microtransactions, and DLC have been talked about since, but San Diego Comic-Con will give Marvel Games another chance to sell fans on the blockbuster title.
Marvel's Avengers is due out on May 15, 2020 for PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Google Stadia.
