Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris is the latest game developed by Aquria and published by Bandai Namco, based on the popular Sword Art Online created by Reki Kawahara, coming to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
According to the developers, and as appropriately suggested by its title, the game is specifically based on the Sword Art Online: Alicization arc, although Aquria and Bandai Namco have made it very clear that Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris is an original story through and through.
In Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris, players will be able to experience this brand-new, and original story firsthand, as the game allows players to create an avatar and join the game's characters in this new adventure.
Bandai Namco and Aquria have also revealed that Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris can also be played with up to 4 friends, so online multiplayer is very much encouraged. Don't have 4 friends to play with you? Don't worry, since you can still have 4 AI characters join your quest.
Now that Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris has finally become available today, Bandai Namco has shared one final trailer that shows off some of the features that players will find in the game once they get their hands on it.
