God Eater 3 may not be the best-reviewed jRPG of all time, but it doesn't mean that Marvelous' new project is some kind of failure. Currently sitting at a mostly positive 71% score on Metacritic
, God Eater 3 has received similar reviews to
God Eater Resurrection (70%) and
God Eater 2: Rage Burst (69%).
Bandai Namco has shared a special accolades trailer for
God Eater 3, flaunting all of the good reviews Marvelous' game has been getting. Thankfully,
God Eater 3 was one of those few titles that released in February 2019 and weren’t complete abominations (
Crackdown 3), unfinished games (
Jump Force), generally disappointing experiences (
Anthem), or just underwhelming projects
(Far Cry: New Dawn).
In
God Eater 3, you play as the chosen one who has to embark on a dangerous journey in the fallen world to kill the Aragami monsters – god-like creatures that only crave to consume and destroy.
