DRAGON QUEST XI: DEFINITIVE EDITION Gets A Bunch Of Features Not Available In Other Versions

Nintendo Switch onwers have had it rough when it comes to waiting for Dragon Quest XI to finally arrive on the Nintendo Switch. The game was among the first titles to be announced for Nintendo's handheld hybrod system, before the console
had even released.

Thankfully, things have been getting brighter for Nintendo fans — as Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age - Definitive Edition(yes, it is quite the mouthful) is finally making its way into the Nintendo Switch in Fall of this year.

The good news don't end there, since the Nintendo Switch version of Dragon Quest XI will be including some features that are not present in other versions of the game, such as the ability to switch(no pun intended) between the game's 3D graphics to those charming 16-Bit graphics from the Dragon Quest titles of yesteryear.

Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age - Definitive Edition for the Nintendo Switch will also be adding new character-specific stories, as well as the option to speed up battles, and fully orchestrated field and battle music for the players' listening pleasure.

As if that wasn't enough, Square Enix has also revealed even that even more Japanese voice actors have joined the project in order to provide the voices for the characters — a feature not available in any version of the game thus far; proving that all of this waiting Nintendo Switch owners have had to endure has not been in vain.

Today's Nintendo Direct offered us a new look at Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age - Definitive Edition, with a trailer that goes over some of the newly added features that Nintendo Switch owners will be able to enjoy when the game finally becomes available this Fall.
