Square Enix announced, in September of last year, that they would be bringing back a handful of
Final Fantasy titles to home consoles and mobile devices; ever since, the developer has been regularly releasing these promised titles.
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition was one of the games that Square Enix revealed, which was expected to release for the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch at some point this year — and today we finally have an official release date; the bad news is that the game's been pushed back a little.
Square Enix has officially confirmed that
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition will be releasing for the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch, as well as on iOS and Android devices, on the 23rd of January.
We also got a brand-new trailer that has shed more light on what has been added to
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition; with the developer adding new character voice overs, and even making the game playable across different platforms.
Check it out:

Young adventurers embark on a journey once a year seeking "drops of myrrh" to purify the crystals. These are the chronicles of brave young adventurers who journey to protect their home. These are the "CRYSTAL CHRONICLES."
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition will release for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android on the 23rd of January in 2020.
