Bandai Namco and Marvelous Entertainment's God Eater 3 was just released back in February for the PlayStation 4 and PC, getting solid reviews from review aggregators like Metacritic; which currently has the game at a very decent 71/100.

The hack and slash jRPG has now been officially announced for the Nintendo Switch by Bandai Namco, although Switch users will still have to wait a little bit longer for the game to release — as the game will become available on the 12th of July.

God Eater 3 for the Nintendo Switch will feature everything present in the PlayStation 4 and PC versions of the game, with the exception that Switch owners will be able to play co-op multiplayer with their friends or, much like the other versions, simply play online with up to 8 players.

Take a look:

All of sudden, unknown life forms called “Oracle cells” begin their uncontrolled consumption of all life on Earth. Their ravenous appetite “devour” and remarkable adaptability earn them first dread, then awe, and finally the name “Aragami.” In the face of an enemy completely immune to conventional weapons, urban civilization collapses, and each day humanity is driven further and further toward extinction.

God Eater 3 will be available for the Nintendo Switch on the 12th of July.
