Grandia HD Collection was announced in August of last year, which is a game that compiles the first two titles in the
Grandia series of role-playing games developed by Japanese studio Game Arts, and it would be releasing for the Nintendo Switch and PC at some point this year.
Today, publisher GungHo Online Entertainment America has revealed that the
Grandia HD Collection for the Nintendo Switch will be releasing on the eShop next week, on
Friday the 16th of August.
The original
Grandia I and
Grandia II were released in the late 90s and early 2000s, respectively, so both games feature 3D graphics from the 32 and 64-bit era, and the
Grandia HD Collection is polishing these graphics, as well as the games' cinematics.
While the
Grandia HD Collection was also announced for PC, we still don't have an official release date for the games — which are not bundled together; with the currently available
Grandia II Anniversary Edition simply being renamed to
Grandia 2 HD Remaster.
Grandia HD Collection for the Nintendo Switch will be releasing on the 16th of August.
