Square Enix's
Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age - Definitive Edition was released on the Nintendo Switch just a couple of weeks ago; after quite a long time, since the game was announced for the console before Nintendo even revealed what the Switch was.
Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age - Definitive Edition is, as the name very appropriately describes it, the definitive edition of
Dragon Quest XI; featuring content that isn't present in other versions of the game, such as a fully orchestrated soundtrack and both Japanese and English dubs.
The graphics on the Nintendo Switch version of the game may look slightly downgraded, but all of the other features truly make it the definitive edition. Perhaps the feature that most seasoned players will appreciate is the fact that this version also allows them to play the full game in 16-Bit graphics.
Today, Nintendo has released an overview trailer for
Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age - Definitive Edition on the Nintendo Switch, which tells us everything we need to know about this version. In case this trailer doesn't convince you, the game's 10-hour-long demo is also available on the Nintendo Switch eShop.
