Square Enix really surprised fans of the Mana series by revealing that Seiken Densetsu 3 was finally going to be localised outside of Japan, in the form of Trials of Mana; a remastered version of the original game that successfully manages to give fans a rather similar experience, but with a brand-new 3D look more akin to current gen consoles.
Trials of Mana is still a bit over a month away from becoming available — launching for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC(Steam) on the 24th of April — but the developer has already revealed that a demo would become available in Japan.
Today, Square Enix has confirmed that the demo for Trials of Mana not only is also becoming available here in the West, but that it has also released today for players to try out on their preferred video game platform.
With the demo's announcement, Square Enix also took the opportunity to release a brand-new gameplay trailer that gives us a look at some of the most iconic fights from the original game — which, by the way, are now offering some new battle mechanics to keep things interesting for fans of the original.
