According to game developer Eko Software, the creators of
How to Survive, Warhammer: Chaosbane is the very first
Diablo-esque hack'and'slash game set in the rich
Warhammer universe. The French studio has proudly announced that their all-new video game is coming to PC, PS4 and Xbox One on June 4th.
The RPG game's story mode will give you a chance to witness one of the Old World's turning points and visit many familiar locations from this beloved universe, including Praag – the Jewel of the Empire and the second largest Imperial city – and many more, but sightseeing definitely won't be your main quest, as the fate of the empire rests in your hands and only you can save Leader Magnus the Pious.
In
Chaosbane, you will fight monsters as one of the 4 playable characters, such as Imperial Captain Konrad, who's a close combat specialist. His attacks are mainly melee and area-of-effect based as his shield allows him to take on vast hordes of enemies, so he will fill the usual tank role more than nicely. This new
Warhammer game is approaching fast, so be sure to check out its latest trailer down below:
