Zenless Zone Zero Version 3.2, titled Their Secret Histories, goes live on September 9. HoYoverse is using the patch to introduce a new Agent Specialty called Armorer, debut Flint Workshop’s two S-Rank leads, and hand out a pile of login and event rewards that includes free faction outfits.

The first half of the version belongs to Claret, an S-Rank Electric Armorer and head of Flint Workshop. The second half belongs to Roxy, an S-Rank Wind Stun Agent and the workshop’s chief smith. Both arrive through exclusive Signal Search channels in their respective halves. Reruns sit underneath those debuts. The first half brings back S-Rank Agent Nangong Yu and her Exclusive W-Engine. The second half brings back S-Rank Agent Promeia and hers.

Logging in during the version period awards a cumulative 10 Encrypted Master Tapes and 10 Boopons. That is the cleanest pull incentive in the patch notes. The louder consumer hook is the outfit track. Producer Zhenyu said in a handwritten letter that Proxies who play the related events in Versions 3.2 and 3.3 can obtain the Angels of Delusion faction series outfits for free. Version 3.2 splits that promise across two activities. Surprise Screening Plan is a 14-day check-in. Finish the designated missions and pick one Angels of Delusion outfit. Clink, Clank, Pinball Knight! is a limited event where you team with Kahkiboo to build an artistic pinball machine. Clear Challenge Mode and claim another outfit from the Angels Support Operation page.

The story sends the Proxies to Vyrium, a special zone in the Shrouded Reef, to keep treating the mutated power in their body. The trip does not stay medical for long. TOPS has already worked its way into Roscaelifer, the place that was supposed to be locked down. At the same time, a shipment of Porcelloy from Flint Workshop disappears at a transfer station. Claret and Roxy go after it and pull the Proxies into the case. The trail leads to a covert research facility tied to Helios Academy. Lindverne Sunbringer, Administrative Director of the Airspace Patrol Department, also asks Claret to chase Porcelloy leads in the remnants of Girtablullu. The patch copy teases an old classmate, an old friend after years apart, and secrets Sunbringer has kept buried under Vyrium’s night sky.

Armorer is the mechanical headline. The Specialty is built around offense and defense at the same time, with new Maim and multi-CRIT rules. Claret is the first Agent on that kit. She stacks Gash on enemies through attacks. When the stack is full, Gash applies to the target. Hitting that target with specific skills triggers Maim, which deals extra damage and grants a Laceration damage boost. All of Claret’s skills use DEF as the base damage multiplier. If her CRIT Rate climbs past 100 percent, the overflow triggers multi-CRIT and uses Laceration damage in place of normal CRIT damage. Her initial CRIT damage also converts into initial CRIT Rate at a set ratio. The build path is therefore DEF, CRIT Rate, and CRIT DMG, not the usual glass-cannon stack. Armorer can also trigger Counter Assist, which lets the Agent contest certain enemy Control Skills and shove them back.

Roxy’s kit is a different kind of field control. Eyes of the Storm is the core. Holding her EX Special Attack creates a tornado and forms an Eye of the Storm. She can then gather and detonate Eyes of the Storm on the field into one large tornado. Her Ultimate generates multiple tornadoes and slams a wide area in front of her. She is a Stun Agent first, so the tornado work is there to set up the rest of the team rather than replace Claret’s laceration loop.

The side events keep the patch busy after the banners. Diary of an Orbie Parent is a virtual pet-raising event. Chronicles of the Hobbling Crow is a Booastrum detective event. Shadow Chase Showdown is an HIA virtual combat event. Rewards listed across those modes include Polychromes and Tuning Calibrators.

Enigma of the Labyrinth: Operation Bagel gets a season update. HoYoverse is splitting those updates into standard seasons and later themed seasons. Version 3.2 is a standard season. That means new Z-Rank valuables and character Gear, advanced challenges, server-wide rankings, and season mission resets. The store adds season-limited large-capacity inventory and Proxy accessories. Claret and Roxy join the mode with new Tactical Prisms and Armorer Specialty General Gears. A new item, Break-Even Beacon, summons a Bangboo to carry some supplies out early. If the extraction fails, those supplies still count for the current round instead of disappearing. A larger themed season with new maps, new systems, and higher-difficulty challenges is listed as in development, with no date attached. Hollow Zero also updates exclusive Gears for both new Agents at the same time.

System changes are smaller but they will matter to anyone still catching up. The Beginner Guide now includes Jane, Hugo, and Soldier 0 - Anby. Proxies who skipped the Agent self-select perk in Version 3.1 can pick one of those three after 3.2 lands. Finish the Phase 2 missions and you can also pick a matching Exclusive W-Engine. Koleda receives an enhancement. Perfect Assist timing has been cleaned up so golden flashes consistently trigger Defensive Assist and red flashes consistently trigger Evasive Assist. The VR  Training Room adds an Armorer-exclusive stage. City Fund Benefits adds a new W-Engine, Bloodmarrow Coffer, redeemable in later versions with the Great Builder’s Certificate.

Version 3.2 launches September 9, 2026 on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 5 Pro, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox Cloud Gaming, Xbox PC, PC, iOS, Android, and Steam. The practical checklist for launch week is simple. Claim the login tapes and Boopons. Decide which half’s banner matters more, Claret’s Armorer debut or Roxy’s Wind Stun kit. Start the check-in and pinball events if the free Angels of Delusion outfits are the goal. The story in Vyrium is the hook. The new Specialty is the reason the patch will stick around after the banners rotate.
