Earlier today, Devolver Digital revealed that The Messenger will stop being a Nintendo Switch console exclusive, as the game will become available for the PlayStation 4 on the 19th of March.

The good news don't end there, as Special Reserve Games has also announced that Sabotage Studios' The Messenger will also be getting a physical release for both the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch; something that fans had been asking for pretty much since the game was released.

Pre-orders for the physical copies of The Messenger will begin on the 19th of March, the same day the game becoems available for the PlayStation 4, and will only be available at the official Special Reserve Games website.

These physical copies are limited to two per customer, in order to prevent scalpers from buying them in large quantities, at a retail price of $34,99 USD and shipping is expected to begin in June.

As a demon army besieges his village, a young ninja ventures through a cursed world, to deliver a scroll paramount to his clan’s survival. What begins as a classic action platformer soon unravels into an expansive time-traveling adventure full of thrills, surprises, and humor.

The Messenger is currently available for the Nintendo Switch and Steam, with the PlayStation 4 version becoming available on the 19th of March.
