Despite revealing very little about the forthcoming game, Nintendo's mysterious Metroid Prime 4 has been available to pre-order for quite some time. And like most pre-orders for a triple-a game, it usually comes with a price tag of about $59.99.
However, in an interesting bit of news, Amazon.com is currently listing the highly anticipated game at $56.18. While that's not a huge price drop, it is a nice 6% discount, and if you use the free automatic coupon currently available on Amazon, you can save another $1.14—bringing the total to $55.04.
It's not entirely unheard of for sites to list pre-orders at a discounted price for a brief period, but it is interesting that Metroid Prime 4 is available at a lower price at this stage. After all, an official release date for the title hasn't been revealed, and aside from a brief title reveal, no trailer or gameplay footage has been released.
The only "hint" at a release date that we've seen is a supposed leak from last week that suggested Metroid Prime 4 could launch as soon as November 29, 2019. That said, the validity of this leak is still in question.
