Super Smash Bros. Ultimate breaks "A New Record!" as Nintendo officially announces that the latest entry in the popular crossover fighting series has become the fastest-selling home console game, developed and published by Nintendo, of all time in Europe.
This new record adds up to
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate being the
best pre-selling title on the Nintendo Switch, as well as the best pre-selling title in the Super Smash Bros. series, the
best-selling video game on Amazon, the
fastest-selling title in the history of the Super Smash Bros. series in the UK, and even
managing to sell a smashing 1.3 million copies within its first week since release in Japan.
While Nintendo has failed to share details about this new record
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate has broken, all of the previous evidence still suggests that the game is on track to becoming something very special for The Big N, as well as fans of the Japanese company and the popular crossover fighting series.
Nintendo's fiscal year ends in March, so then we;ll finally be able to see how well their games have performed over the course of the year, especially for
