Bayonetta director Hideki Kamiya is known to be vocal when there's something he dislikes in the gaming community and now it looks like he has the Nintendo Switch in his crosshairs. Just before 2019 finished Kamiya sent out a few tweets which express his feelings about Nintendo's popular console's menu - and what he had to say wasn't very nice.

The tweet which we have included below is in Japanese, but thanks to the good people over at Nintendo Soup, we were also able to include a close translation right below it. The Bayonetta director doesn't pull his punches, asking if the people who created the Nintendo fan boy's Switch has ever played a Switch before.

Take a look below at both the tweet from Kamiya himself and the subsequent translation for yourself.

“The Nintendo Switch’s Home Menu is a piece of crap, all of the shitty gigantic game icons are lined up in a row, but the rest of the games are tossed into a trash can called ‘All Games’… I wonder have they (the people that made the menu) ever played the Nintendo fan boys’ Switch? Have the people that created the Nintendo fan boys’ Switch ever played a Switch before…?”

What do you think? Are you in agreement with these comments or are you happy with the way the Nintendo Switch is? Let us know how you feel in the comments below!

Bayonetta 3 is currently in development for the Nintendo Switch.
