Back in May, "
Sunset Overdrive PC" popped up on the Korean Game Ratings Board website, as developers and publishers that would like to officially release their games in the Republic of Korea have to submit the data to a ratings board that’s directly connected to the South Korea government. Most of the time, the ratings board leaks info to the media, even though it’s all confidential information.
A week ago, we reported that The Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) has rated the Insomniac-developed open-world action adventure game, basically confirmed that PC users will finally have a chance to check out
Sunset Overdrive, bastard, underappreciated child of Insomniac Games, creators of PlayStation's exclusives like
Resistance, Ratchet & Clank, and
Spider-Man.
Yesterday, a Steam Database listing has appeared online, indicating that
Sunset Overdrive is set to make its debut on the popular service. If you believe in the "three time's a charm" rule you don't need more proof that
Sunset is heading to PC. Habitual doubters will have to wait until Saturday, when Microsoft may (and probably will) finally and officially announce
Sunset Overdrive's PC version during X018.
The city’s overrun with mutants. Problem? Not for you. Sunset Overdrive is an open-world playground of post-apocalyptic possibilities. Vault, grind & wall-run while using a deadly & unconventional arsenal. With hyper-agility, unique weapons, & customizable abilities, it rewrites the rules of shooters while delivering an irreverent adventure.
Sunset Overdrive launched for Xbox One in 2014.
