E3 2019 will be taking place next month. This means that it will have been an entire three years since
Death Stranding was first revealed to the world. In that time, we've basically become none the wiser as to what the game is about, exactly what the gameplay is like, nor when it will be releasing.
In the three years since its unveiling, about four or five trailers have dropped. These trailers sparingly revealed its star-studded cast as well as intriguing details about the game itself. Now it seems that we should expect another of these trailers to release some time in the near future.
Two weeks ago, the game's director, Hideo Kojima took to social media to tease that he and his studio
were working on a new trailer for the highly-anticipated game. However, as mentioned, it has been two weeks and the trailer still hasn't dropped. Well, Kojima recently took to Twitter (
@Kojima_Hideo) yet again to tease the upcoming trailer.
Kojima's tweet features an image of a monitor which reads
"A Hideo Kojima Game," as
Death Stranding's previous trailers have. Another tidbit about the photo is that below the monitor you can see some models of Kratos and Atreus from
God of War (another PlayStation exlusive and last year's GOTY award winner).
The game director is certainly hyping this trailer up quite a bit. With it supposedly being almost ten minutes in length, here's hoping it will live up to the anticipation (same with the game itself).
