Days Gone is an open-world action game set in the high-desert of the Pacific Northwest. Just like almost every single zombie video game ever made, the player will face an army of the living dead that would love to, quite literally, taste your brain. Bend Studio, developer of the said sandbox, recently announced that
Days Gone has been pushed back and in now expected to release on April 26, 2019.
The upcoming PlayStation 4 exclusive’s story picks up several years after the fatal outbreak of a deadly virus has ravaged the US (and possibly the rest of the world), changing its citizens into zo.., "infected," as the game likes to call them. To survive, the main protagonist Deacon will use shotguns, sniper rifles, Molotov cocktails, grenades, and napalm to see another day in this post-apocalyptic environment.
Bend Studio has released the game's box art that is based on the gorgeous key art that was revealed during this years' Paris Games Week. Just like
Days Gone itself, the cover focuses on running away from danger rather that actively fighting the undead, as the artwork showcases Deacon relaxing next to his reliable bike, his new best friend in the zombified world. Be sure to check it out down below:
Set in the beautiful, volcanic scarred high-desert of the Pacific Northwest, Days Gone is an open-world action-adventure game where you play as Deacon St. John, a Drifter and bounty hunter who would rather risk the dangers of the broken road than live in one of the “safe” wilderness encampments.
Days Gone will be available for PlayStation 4 on April 26, 2019.
