After having its release date pushed back, Bend Studios' highly anticipated Days Gone will be officially released on April 26. While that means there is still a fair amount of time until launch, we now appear to have confirmation that the game will be rated M for mature.
Oddly enough, this information does not come from the ESRB website, as there is currently no listing for Days Gone. Instead, it is the official Days Gone page on PlayStation’s website that has unveiled the game’s ESRB rating alongside other promotional material.
As previously mentioned, the site shows that the title has earned an M-Rating, but it also reveals that it received its mature rating for blood and gore, drug references, intense violence, sexual themes, and strong language.
The content description likely won't surprise anyone who has seen any of the gameplay for Days Gone, but it is still interesting that there is no listing on the ESRB site. That said, we'll keep you informed if any new and interesting details are revealed once it gets its own page on the ESRB webpage.
