Earlier today, it was announced that Marvel's Avengers has been delayed by four months — find out more on that here. Seems that today is the day for delays as it has also been announced that Final Fantasy VII Remake's release date has been pushed back.
Thankfully, the highly-anticipated Final Fantasy game's release hasn't been delayed by quite as long as the aforementioned superhero game's. Prior to today, it was believed that Final Fantasy VII Remake would release on March 3rd, 2020. However, the remake will now release on April 10th, 2020.
That's just over a month later, a week after the release of Resident Evil 3 Remake, and just a week before Cyberpunk 2077's release. Square Enix provided a statement regarding the delay of Final Fantasy VII on social media — you can check that out below (via @FinalFantasyVII):
It has been all but confirmed that a demo for Final Fantasy VII Remake will be released prior to or alongside the game's release — more on that here.
