In May of this year, Microsoft hosted a presentation in which they would be giving players a first look at some of the games that will be releasing for the brand-new, and highly anticipated Xbox Series X console; a presentation that was about 45 minutes long, and did reveal some interesting titles.
The main problem with the Xbox Series X presentation was that the show barely showcased any gameplay, and players know better than to expect a pre-rendered trailer and call it a day. The presentation's biggest offender was that it promised gameplay, and barely delivered on this front.
Microsoft has some great news for Xbox fans, as they have announced that a proper video game showcase presentation will be hosted by Geoff Keighly later this month, where they will hopefully focus solely on gameplay that actually gives players an idea of what to expect from the upcoming Xbox console.
The announcement is pretty vague, so we don't know how long the presentation will be, or which developers will be showcasing gameplay. What we do know, however, is that it will be taking place on Thursday the 23rd of July at 9:00 AM PT / 6:00 PM CEST, and will be streamed live on YouTube.
