Gunman Clive series creator, Bertil Hörberg, revealed back in February that he was working on a brand-new platforming/boss rush game, that would come out exclusively for the Nintendo Switch, called Mechstermination Force.

The announcement came with an action-packed trailer that gave us an idea of what the game would be like. Described by Hörberg as a Contra meets Shadow of the Colossus type of game, Mechstermination Force definitely looks like it will be a hit like his previous Gunman Clive series.

We did get a pretty awesome reveal trailer, but what we didn't get was an official release date for the game; until now. Bertil Hörberg has revealed today that Mechstermination Force will be releasing for the Nintendo Switch next week, on the 4th of April, and will retail for $11.99/€11.99.

Join the Mechstermination Force and save the world from the gigantic MegaMechs! Battle against massive bosses, jump and climb onto them to find their weak spots and blow them to kingdom come in this action packed platforming boss rush, from the creator of the Gunman Clive series.

Mechstermination Force will be available for the Nintendo Switch on the 4th of April.
