A demo for FDG Entertainment and Game Atelier's phenomenal
Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom has jut become available on Steam(PC) today, for those players who still are on the fence about purchasing this excellent game to try it out and see if it is something they'd want to play.
As a spiritual successor to Sega's
Wonder Boy series,
Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom actually plays out a little bit more as a sequel rather than a spiritual successor; referencing and even featuring characters from the iconic series, as well as making use of some of the classic tunes from previous entries in the
Wonder Boy series.
Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom has been pretty successful since it was released in December of last year, getting critical praise — with a very solid 87/100 on Metacritic — and even
managing to sell an impressive 200,000 units in digital sales on the Nintendo Switch alone; most definitely a game worth checking out.
Can Jin save Monster World Kingdom? Help our young hero defeat challenging enemies, discover hidden locations, upgrade powerful equipment, and more! You'll also unlock special forms with unique skills used to open new paths where mighty bosses and secret treasures await.
