Players will now be able to obtain the double-action revolver, which is statistically the best non-rare revolver in Red Dead Redemption. In GTA Online, it functions similarly to the heavy-revolver, but there is no need to cock-back the hammer after every shot. Interestingly, Rockstar made the shooting sound fount very similar between the two games, which is a nice touch for all the past red dead players.

However, this gun is not for free. Players will have to complete a treasure hunt in order to receive it, which is possible by joining any free roam lobby. Once completed, the gun will be put in the inventory.

Players can go the extra length and get 50 headshots on players or NPC's for GTA$250,000. In addition, players who receive the revolver will get a free variation to use in Red Dead Redemption 2, for its release in 2018.
