Grand Theft Auto V is a game that was released back in September of 2013, making it almost six-years-old by our account. To learn that the title is still topping the charts around the world to this very day is quite astonishing.
The latest reports have stated that Grand Theft Auto V has topped the EMEAA charts, which are countries based in Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Australia. Interestingly enough, both the physical and digital copies of the game took the number one spot.
One of the newest video game on the chart is Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fuelled. It took the top spot two weeks ago but soon slipped to second as GTA V slipped back to the top position once more.
As for Nintendo's latest masterpiece, Super Mario Maker 2, it holds on tight to the third position, followed by Dragon Quest Builders 2. We are unable to deliver data on Super Mario Maker 2 when it comes down to digital data because Nintendo is unwilling to share, at the moment.
The other games on the charts are quite impressive themselves, but chances are the majority of them will fall off while GTA continues to bully future releases for years to come.
