Bandai Namco surprised fans of the Mobile Suit Gundam series earlier this year, announcing that the popular Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme VS. Maxiboost ON was being localised, and released as a PlayStation 4 exclusive later this year.
The reason why this news was so well-received by fans of the long-running mech series is because, up until that point, Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme VS. Maxiboost ON had only been released in Japan for arcade cabinets. What's more, the game was released four years ago, which is a long time to keep fans in the West wishing the game could launch here.
Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme VS. Maxiboost ON is bringing with it ever ysingle one of the elements present in its arcade counterpart, but is also adding a new single-player mode to give fans a little something extra; and quite an extra it is, as this single-player mode is including a staggering 200 missions for players to complete.
