Originally released for Japanese arcades in March of 2016, Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme VS. Maxiboost ON is finally launching here in the west by the end of July, and as a PlayStation 4 exclusive title; bringing with it the same fast-paced 2on2 team action seen in the arcade version.
The Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme VS. Maxiboost ON Open Beta was made available this past Saturday — which gave some players the chance to enjoy the game ahead of its release, and see if this is a game they would be willing to purchase once it finally hits store shelves next month.
Today we have some great news for those fans who have been impatiently anticipating the release of Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme VS. Maxiboost ON, as Bandai Namco has announced that pre-orders for the PlayStation 4 version of the game have just become available today.
Those players who choose to pre-order the game will get Gundam Barbatos Lupus Rex and Operator Sthesia from Mobile Suit Gundam Battle Operation 2. On top of this, they will also be given an additional 24 hours to play the Open Access ahead of the official worldwide release.
Bandai Namco still hasn't revealed whether Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme VS. Maxiboost ON will be getting a physical release. Unfortunately, and by the looks of it, it seems that a physical release would've been announced by now, and it wasn't even hinted at in the pre-order trailer released today; hopefully they will announce it in the future.
