Streets of Rage 4 is only a week away from finally becoming available, which is something that sounds almost surreal when we consider that the latest entry in the beloved beat 'em up series released over 25 years ago.

The developers of the game —namely Dotemu, Lizardcube, and Guard Crush — have really made sure to deliver a top quality product that isn't afraid to do something new, but is also embracing what made the Streets of Rage series the household name it is today.

Streets of Rage 4 is bringing back characters, gameplay mechanics, and overall feel of the Streets of Rage series, but it has also introduced new characters and mechanics to keep things fresh.

Today, Dotemu has introduced players to Estel Aguirre, who is one of the new, and strongest bosses that players will have to face when Streets of Rage 4 finally hits store shelves next Thursday.

Take a look:

Featuring hand-drawn visuals from the team behind 2017’s gorgeous Wonder Boy: The Dragon’s Trap remake, Streets of Rage 4 builds upon the classic trilogy’s gameplay with new mechanics, a fresh story and a gauntlet of dangerous stages with a serious crime problem.

Streets of Rage 4 will be available for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PC(Steam) on the 30th of April.
