NBA 2K19 has been increasingly more active on their social media, spilling ratings for rookies, updated ratings for stars, and teasing new looks for players who have swapped jerseys and teams. There isn't much known about added features to the game, other than one teased in a
tweet for how the All-Star game works (in MyLEAGUE & MyGM only), which mirrors the changes that happened this past season in the NBA.
Traditionally, it was East versus West, but last season in the NBA, the highest vote-getters from each conference became 'Team Captains,' where they snake drafted (1-2-2-1-1-2-etc.) the remaining players in the All-Star pool. The other top 8, 4 from each conference, would signify the other top vote getters and round out the starters (totaling 10 with both team captains), the remaining 14 players (7 from each conference) would be picked by coaches. There's a more complete list of all the changes to the MyLEAGUE & MyGM created in this
Facebook Post from NBA 2K's official page.
As the next month passes by, it seems that they'll release more information about all the new and returning features for the game.
NBA 2K19 will release worldwide on
