NBA 2K19 is just about a month away from its release date, September 11th, and they continue to pile up the ratings via their Official Twitter account.  Over the last few days, they've released the ratings of some of the newest faces to the game, the top 3 drafted rookies from the NBA Draft that was held this past June.

While most sports games don't get a major overhaul in gameplay between their annual releases, the largest factor of course, are the fresh faces to each roster.  Outside of career mode, where people take their own player through a story mode, and eventually through online play (if they so choose).

While there's a huge bulk of players that just like to simulate playing their favorite team through seasons with their new and improved roster from last year.  From the fresh faces entering the League via the NBA Draft from overseas or college, to the superstars and veterans that swap places via free agency, this is half the reason fans continue to buy these games, year in and year out.  One of the other major factors, is also seeing the updated ratings of the players they've grown to love, or hate.

Deandre Ayton was the #1 overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft.  He will play for the Phoenix Suns this coming year and is projected as their starting Center position.  He was rated as a consensus top 5 high school player before attending the University of Arizona for one year.

Here's the tweet from their Official Twitter page announcing Deandre Ayton's official rating:

Marvin Bagley III was the #2 overall pick in the NBA Draft.  He will play for the Sacramento Kings and is projected to be a Power Forward for them.  He played for the Duke Blue Devils for his lone freshman year and was rated as a consensus top 2 high school player.

Luka Doncic was the 3rd overall pick in the NBA Draft.  He was originally drafted by the Atlanta Hawks, where he was then traded to the Dallas Mavericks where he will be either a Shooting Guard or Small Forward.  He is coming over from Europe where he's played for famed sports club, Real Madrid, and won the Spanish League's Championship, season MVP, and Finals MVP this past season.

"NBA 2K19 is the 20th installment of the popular basketball simulation game by 2K Sports.  The game will feature two cover athletes, Los Angeles Lakers' Lebron James on a special 20th Anniversary cover, and the Milwaukee Bucks' Giannis Antetokounmpo for the standard edition."

NBA 2K19 is set to release worldwide for Windows PC, Playstation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One everywhere on September 11th, 2018.
