After the 2017 revival of the series with the fantastic Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy on the PlayStation 4, Activision realized that people still cared about the series; something that was further cemented when the trilogy was released for other platforms and breaking all kinds of sales records.

It was only a matter of time until Activision decided to bring back yet another forgotten gem from the past, which is why it was such a surprise when Activision and Beenox announced Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled, a remaster of the original Crash Team Racing released in the late 90s, during last year's The Game Awards.

Since the announcement, Activision has been releasing quite a few trailers and revealing information about Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled, and today we get our first look at the brand-new cover art for the game, which is less barebones than the original; featuring eight of the 12 original racers from the game.
