Early in December of last year, rumours were doing the rounds claiming that Activision would be giving
Crash Team Racing the same treatment they gave the original
Crash Bandicoot trilogy by remastering the classic racing game for this gen's consoles.
It wasn't until the 7th of December when Activision finally confirmed that
Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled was, indeed, being developed and would be releasing on the
21st of June for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One — with a trailer that perfectly recreated the trailer for the original
Crash Team Racing that released in 1999.
Today Activision has released the first gameplay footage for
Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled, and the game looks just as good as one would expect after seeing the fantastic job that Activision has done comissioning the
Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy to Vicarious Visions and
Spyro Reignited Triogy to Toys for Bob; asking Beenox to help them out with this
Crash Team Racing remaster.
