According to Eurogamer, a live commercial will air in the UK on Sunday, December 18th at 9:10pm on Channel 4. In it, stuntman Dave Grant will perform a 100 foot freefall live on air, something which looks set to make television history as Ubisoft pushes Assassin's Creed in a big way on this side of the pond. Anyone who plays the games will know that they play a key role in the adventures of the assassins, and stunt double Damien Walters actually performed a 125 foot leap for the movie earlier this year!

An original story rather than a direct take on one of the games, the movie picks up with Callum Lynch in the present after he discovers he’s a descendant of the secret Assassins society through unlocked memories that allow him to relive the adventures of his ancestor, Aguilar, in 15th Century Spain.

After gaining incredible knowledge and skills he’s poised to take on the oppressive Knights Templar in the present day. Set in the same world as the game, but just how closely tied to them it will be remains to be seen. Assassin’s Creed stars Michael Fassbender, Marion Cotillard, Michael Kenneth Williams, and Ariane Labed, and is currently set to be released on December 21st, 2016.
