Days Gone is an open-world action game set in the high-desert of the Pacific Northwest. Just like every zombie video game ever made, the player will have to face an army of the living dead that would love to, quite literally, eat your brain. Bend Studio, creator of the upcoming zombie sandbox, has announced that
Days Gone has been pushed back and in now expected to release on April 26, 2019.
The title was supposed to hit stores on February 22, 2019, but the studio recently decided to move the release of Days Gone from the crowded February timeframe that features potential sales hits like
Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown, Anthem, Metro: Exodus, long-delayed Crackdown 3, Jump Force, and
Trials Rising. Naturally, Bend Studio will take the opportunity to further polish
Days Gone.
Days Gone tells a story that picks up several years after the fatal and deadly outbreak of a deadly virus that has ravaged the US (and possibly the rest of the world), changing its citizens into zo.., "infected," as the game calls them. To survive, main protagonist Deacon will use shotguns, sniper rifles, Molotov cocktails, grenades, and napalm to hopefully see another day in this post-apocalyptic environment.
Set in the beautiful, volcanic scarred high-desert of the Pacific Northwest, Days Gone is an open-world action-adventure game where you play as Deacon St. John, a Drifter and bounty hunter who would rather risk the dangers of the broken road than live in one of the “safe” wilderness encampments.
Days Gone will be available for the PlayStation 4 on April 26, 2019.
