UNCHARTED: GOLDEN ABYSS And DAYS GONE Developers Are Already Working On A New Big-Budget Game

It seems that Sony Bend Studio is a very busy developer. They haven't even finished working on Days Gone, Bend's answer to the popularity of The Last of Us and every single zombie game ever produced and the studio that gave us 6 Syphon Filter games, the mobile Uncharted: Golden Abyss & Fight for Fortune and Resistance: Retribution is already hiring for a brand new (possibly) big-budget project.

A new job listing at Sony Bend Studio suggests that the developer is working on an unannounced game that isn’t part of any established franchise as the developer has recently posted a new job listing looking for a Senior Concept Artist. Of course, at this early stage, not much is known about the new project at Sony Bend, but it looks like we won't get a Days Gone sequel anytime soon.

Days Gone tells the story that picks up several years after the fatal and deadly outbreak of a deadly virus that has ravaged the US (and possibly the rest of the world), changing its citizens into zombi... "infected" as the game calls them. Deacon, the main protagonist will use shotguns, sniper rifles, Molotov cocktails, grenades, and napalm to hopefully see another day in this post-apocalyptic environment.

Set in the beautiful, volcanic scarred high-desert of the Pacific Northwest, Days Gone is an open-world action-adventure game where you play as Deacon St. John, a Drifter and bounty hunter who would rather risk the dangers of the broken road than live in one of the “safe” wilderness encampments.

Days Gone will be available for the PlayStation 4 on February 22, 2019.
