The Game Awards 2018 will start in less than two hours, featuring some major announcements and reveals from the biggest video game developers, including Capcom. According to an eagle-eyed ResetEra user MBS, the Japanese company will showcase an all-new gameplay trailer for the upcoming slasher that will be focused on the mysterious V, one of the three playable protagonists of
DMCV.
In addition to that, MBS has uploaded three strikingly beautiful screenshots from
Devil May Cry V and you can check them out below in their hi-res glory. Also, the leaked trailer has apparently also confirmed that the Bloody Palace game mode, that debuted in the second
DMC and has been a part of the series ever since, will be available in-game as a free update in April, pitting the player character against groups of enemies and bosses, each on a lower floor, until they reach the end of the Palace.
That's not all, as a
Devil May Cry V demo will launch tomorrow, exclusively on Xbox One, leaving PlayStation 4 and PC owners with nothing. The good news is that another Capcom game will reportedly also get a demo version, and as you can guess, we're talking about the upcoming remake of
Resident Evil 2. In the meantime, be sure to take a look at the latest images from
DMCV down below:
A new demonic invasion has begun with the seeds of a demon tree being sown in Red Grave City. Now fully equipped with his trusty Red Queen and Blue Rose, and a new arsenal of rad robot hands thanks to his partner Nico, Nero must rise up to this new impossible task. With such insane amount of energy and destruction emanating from this surprise invasion, the stage is now set for the latest chapter of the “Sons of Sparda” saga.
Devil May Cry 5 is coming to Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC March 8, 2019.
