Following last week's announcement regarding the Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Blackout beta for PlayStation 4, Activision has announced the dates for Xbox One and PC. Both will go live on September 14, four days after those on PlayStation 4 have access. Like the PS4, the Blackout beta on Xbox One and PC will be private, which means you must pre-order a copy of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 to receive access.

However, a Blackout open beta for PC will be available for anyone with a Battle.net account starting on September 15. Developer Treyarch has not yet announced if the PC specifications for the Blackout beta will be different from those used in the multiplayer beta earlier this month.

The teasers announcing the Blackout beta are the same as the one for PS4, confirming the standard solos, duos, and squad gameplay sessions will be available. The rest of the contents of the beta remain a mystery, though we did get a sneak peek in a previous trailer for the prior multiplayer beta. While we know that Blackout will contain elements from the entire Call of Duty series, it's unclear how much will be made accessible in the beta.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 will launch October 12 for PS4, Xbox One and PC. On a related note, EA and DICE also announced today that open beta for  Battlefield 5 will begin on September 4 for pre-orders and Access members, while opening for the general public on September 6.
