Ever since Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled was announced, fans of the original racing title were beyond excited to see what Beenox and Activision did with the long-neglected franchise. The excitement wasn't uncalled for, since the Activision and Vicarious Visions had already done a phenomenal job with Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy and fans expected the same level of quality.

As it turns out, the developers exceeded every expectations fans had by going even further; announcing that a tonne of content would be added post-launch in the form of monthly Grand Prix events that would bring with them new characters, new racetracks, new karts, and thematic cosmetics for these vehicles.

Just last Friday, Beenox announced that the next Grand Prix would be the final event they would be releasing for Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled — after having worked very hard for the past 8 months, and releasing quite a bunch of Grand Prix events that brimmed with content.

Today, Beenox and Activision have finally revealed Gasmoxia Grand Prix, which is bringing with it the usual new stage, and brand-new character; this time, introducing players to Emperor Velo XXVII as a playable character, and adding the mandatory new track, characters, and items.

As revealed by Activision, the Gasmoxia Grand Prix event will kick off tomorrow, Tuesday the 20th of February, at 7:00 AM Pacific Time / 3:00 PM UTC, and will be wrapping up on the 22nd of March.
