While Deck 13's Dark Souls–like The Surge 2 still is a pretty mysterious title, the team at Rock Paper Shotgun has recently had a chance to play the sequel's latest build, giving us a chance to take a closer look at the eagerly anticipated title in over 10 minutes of never-before-seen gameplay footage.
In the new footage (captured on PC), we can take a closer look at the upcoming sequel's post-apocalyptic world, its mutated citizens, blooming flora, and even some pretty impressive customization tools that will allow you to upgrade and personalize your very own in-game exosuit the way you like.
According to the developers at Deck 13,
The Surge 2 will be much longer than the first acclaimed entry, allowing the player to embark on a dangerous 25-hour-long journey in a sprawling, devastated city.
Considering that the game's publisher Focus Home Interactive will put the spotlight on their brand-new titles at E3 2019, it's safe to say that
The Surge 2 will also be showcased during the big show in June.
