After the earthquake that hit Japan last week, Nintendo decided to postpone their Nintendo Direct presentation—originally scheduled to stream on the 6th of September.

Yesterday, some rumours surfaced online claiming that the Nintendo Direct would be streamed this Thursday, although Nintendo had not officially made any comments regarding the subject.

Now, Nintendo has officially announced that the Nintendo Direct will, indeed, be streamed this Thursday the 13th at 3PM Pacific Time. Like originally announced, the Nintendo Direct presentation will last roughly 35 minutes and will be focusing on upcoming, and already revealed Nintendo Switch and Nintendo 3DS titles.

Nintendo has also stated that the Direct will finally reveal more information regarding their new Nintendo Switch Online service, as well as announcing that Nintendo Switch users can sing-up for a 7-day free trial on the 18th of September—which is when the Nintendo Switch Online service will become available.
