Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition is not coming out for a month and this is the perfect time for Nintendo start reminding players that the game is coming out , and to introduce all 29 characters that the game will feature.
Hyrule Warriors is a hack and slash game developed by Omega Force and Team Ninja that came out originally for the Wii U in 2014. The game would later get a Nintendo 3DS version that introduced a few new characters like Linkle, Toon Link and Tetra, among others.
Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition is, like the name suggests, the definitive edition of the game. This edition is coming out exclusively for the Nintendo Switch and it wil bring together both original versions of the game as all 29 characters will be available from the get-go.
In this first character highlight video, Nintendo focuses on the series' main hero Link, Princess Zelda and Impa, as well as newcomers Lana, Linkle, the Dragon Knight Volga, Wizzro, and the game's main antagonist Dark Sorceress Cia.

A new, ultimate version of the exhilarating action game set in the Zelda universe will include every map and mission, plus all 29 playable characters from both the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS versions of the game, along with all of the previous paid downloadable content. Play as Link, Zelda, Midna, Skull Kid and dozens more in action-packed battles at home or on the go.
Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition will be available for the Nintendo Switch on the 18th of May.
