Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition is Nintendo and Koei Tecmo's hack-and-slash game based on
The Legend of Zelda and the
Warriors game series. Today the game has finally released for the Nintendo Switch as the game gets a flashy, and action-packed launch trailer to get everyone on that hype
Spirit Train.
The game features a huge roster of 29 playable characters from
Link's Awakening,
Ocarina of Time,
Majora's Mask,
The Wind Waker,
Twilight Princess,
Spirit Tracks,
Skyward Sword,
and A Link Between Worlds, plus the main series' antagonist
Ganondorf.
In
Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition players can switch between characters during the battle to even out their chances against the enemy hordes, or teleport to where they are needed the most. Co-op mode is also available for a friend to join in and help take down enemies easier. There's an Adventure mode that allows players to revisit some quests from the past, as well as fully customisable fairies that will be of great help on the battlefield. As an exclusive addition to
Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition, two outfits for Link and Zelda have been added that will make them look like they did in
Breath of the Wild, as well as including all of the Premium DLC found in the 3DS and Wii U versions of
Hyrule Warriors.
A new, ultimate version of the exhilarating action game set in the Zelda universe will include every map and mission, plus all 29 playable characters from both the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS versions of the game, along with all of the previous paid downloadable content. Play as Link, Zelda, Midna, Skull Kid and dozens more in action-packed battles at home or on the go.
Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition is available for the Nintendo Switch right now.
